Welcome back to Billy's Page. Today is Day +251 on Billy's BMT calendar. Once again, here are what the Normal blood counts levels are:

WBC: 4.0 - 10.5
RBC: 4.20 - 5.60
Hemoglobin: 12.5 - 16.1
Platelets: 150.000 - 450.000

I hope this update finds you all in good spirits. Alicia is safe at home, after her trip to Miami. We really missed her, and we're glad to have her home *wink*. Billy is doing very well, and I am happy to say that his Cyclosporine dose is now down to 25mg x 2 times per day! We are STILL awaiting word as to when Billy's scans will be done. Dr. Petrovic is out of town for a week or so, and things are a bit "unraveled" at the clinic *wink*. Although Billy's bone marrow transplant has progressed well, we can't lose sight of his ewings sarcoma, This is the reason behind the CT, and bone scans. It has been a few months since his last scans.
We would like to say to you all, that we received Billy's report card today, for the last semester (6 weeks) of school. Once again, we are so very proud to say that Billy has received "Straight A's". You all know how we feel about Billy, and his schooling; as it relates to him having to battle cancer as well; so I'll just leave it at that *wink*, and just say that we are "so very proud" of Him, and all his accomplishments.

Click for photo I almost forgot! Here is a photo of Alicia and Adriana!!

Welcome back to Billy's Page. Today is Day +256 on Billy's BMT calendar.
I hope this update finds you all in good spirits. Billy is doing very well, considering his Football Team isn't *wink*. It has been over a week since Billy was last at the clinic, so I have no Blood counts for this update. Billy's next clinic visit is on this coming Wednesday the 17th. We also have a date for Billy's scans. They will all be done on the same day, the 1st of December.

We have a favor to ask of you all, one of Billy's nurses from All Children’s Hospital Cancer ward (2 so. west), Ethel Gould, is running in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training Marathon out in Arizona. She needs to raise $3,600 and has so far raised $2,000. She is running in honor of our very dear friend Casie Snow, who passed away August 18th at All Childrens Hospital. We sincerely want to help honor Casie, and your donation is truely needed. $1, $5, $10.........No amount is too little!
If you can help, please MAKE YOUR CHECKS PAYABLE TO:
THE LEUKEMIA AND LYMPHOMA SOCIETY
MAIL THEM TO:

Welcome back to Billy's Page. Today is Day +258 on Billy's BMT calendar.
Today's counts are: WBC @ 4.30, RBC @ 3.61, Hemoglobin @ 11.7, platelets @ 198,000. ANC @ 2,600.
I hope this update finds you well. As you can see, by the counts (above) Billy is doing well. Billy's Cyclosporine dose is now down to 20mg x 2 times per day!, and should be finished with this drug by the 17th of December. If you have taken the time to read about Cyclosporine, you'll know that this drug played a major roll in Billy's body accepting his bone marrow transplant. We were also informed today, that Billy will no longer be required to undergo the infusion of Pantamadine. Instead he will be taking Septra 3 days per week, twice per day. Billy took this drug during his chemo treatment, while he was fighting ewings sarcoma. Dr. Petrovic informed us that Dr. Letson (Billy's surgeon) has ordered Billy's new prosthesis, and the surgery is still scheduled for mid January 2005. Billy will have 14 tubes of blood drawn on the 30th, for a COMPLETE work-up, and his scans are still scheduled for the 1st of December.
We haven't really "planned" anything while we have been fighting the "cancer monster" for the past 26 months, but we are going to try and go to New Jersey for Christmas. Of course, all depends on how Billy is doing. We are not permitted to fly, because Billy is not able to be confined with other persons, so we will be driving up and back (1300 miles each way), to minimize any possibilities of infection's. It will be nice to get away for awhile *wink*.

Please Pray for Billy.........................and ALL children of cancer.

Welcome back to Billy's Page. Today is Day +262 on Billy's BMT calendar.
I hope you are all doing well. Billy is doing just fine, as a matter of fact, he's at the beach!! Alicia and Billy are staying at the beach for the next few days, as we are having some work done here at home, and Billy can't be around the "mess". There's nothing like a few days at the Beach.....right!! Billy has the next week off from School for the Thanksgiving Holiday, so things worked out just right.

I want to thank all of you who have visited Eric Horner's site (link below), and picked up the new CD, "Gifts". For those who haven't.........get on over there and grab one!! The CD has the song Eric wrote for Billy called "Billy Make's It Rain", along with many other fabulous, heart warming songs you'll enjoy listening to for years to come. What a great Christmas Gift to give your Loved ones. What are you waiting for? Go on...........................get your copy today!! and tell 'em I sent 'ya!

Please Pray for Billy.........................and ALL children of cancer.

Welcome back to Billy's Page. Today is Day +271 on Billy's BMT calendar.
Today's counts are: WBC @ 4.20, RBC @ 3.52, Hemoglobin @ 11.3, platelets @ 177,000. ANC @ 2,100.
I hope this update finds you well. Billy is doing well, and his counts have held somewhat steady *wink*. Billy's Cyclosporine dose is now down to 15mg x 2 times per day! and when this prescription of folic acid is complete, Billy will no longer be required to take it; so, we can scratch one more prescription from the daily dosage!
Billy had 10 tubes of blood drawn today for the numerous tests that will be done over the next few days. I am really beginning to "hate" the time between CBC's. We used to get Billy's blood counts twice per week, and we always knew the levels; but it has been 2 weeks since his last counts were done, and the 2 weeks seemed to have been quite a bit longer than it really was *wink*, all the waiting, I guess.
Billy's CT scan, and bone scans are still on for tomorrow morning at 8:30. He'll probably be at the Hospital for the better part of the day. Please focus your "Prayer Energy" on Clear scans, and normal blood test results.

Please Pray for Billy.........................and ALL children of cancer.

 Sat. 4 Dec. 2004 sunny 71° Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Welcome back to Billy's Page. Today is Day +275 on Billy's BMT calendar.
All is well here in Chilly St. Pete.!! I guess you can say that our "2 weeks of winter" has arrived!! Today it is 275 day's since Billy's BMT, and I am happy to say that he is doing well. We haven't received any of the results from the many tests that were done last week, but as soon as we have them, I'll let you all know how things are. Billy's next Clinic visit is scheduled for the 16th of this month.
We are still planning on heading up to New Jersey (Dec. 20), to spend some time with our Families for the Christmas Holiday. Dr. Petrovic see's no reason for keeping us from going *wink*. So, we'll keep our fingers crossed and hope there are no set backs. Preparations are being made for Billy's arrival in N.J., and we are praying that all goes well.

Please Pray for Billy.........................and ALL children of cancer.
